It's Time To Leave FacebookEdit

There are many reasons why people are ready to leave Facebook. For some, it's their constantly shifting stance of privacy. For others, the service agreements they signed up to have been replaced by ones they no longer agree with. Other people are tired of being treated like a commodity, and others still are becoming disgusted with Facebook's stance on issues of content.

Whatever your reason, it's time to leave Facebook. Leaving together helps demonstrate that our concerns are not those of a discontent few but rather representative of a growing movement of people who want to control and manage their own digital traces.

May 21st 2010 is Leave Facebook Day. This wiki has been set up so that people can share their leaving tips (because it's not easy to Leave Facebook),[talk about their reasons for leaving], and even discuss what [might come next]. Because we're not leaving the internet or SNS in its entirety - [many of us] still use and find value in the idea of social networking. We just want to do so on terms we can agree with.
